Aker Kvaerner Engineering & Technology AS had been contracted also to purchase the oil spill response package for the Ormen Lange Project. AllMaritim won the contract and completed it during the summer months of 2006. The oil spill equipment supplied consisted of:

NOFI Oil Barge 75m3, temporary storage barge      

NorMar 30, 30m3/h weir skimmer 

The Ormen Lange Project will become operational during the autumn of 2007. Østensjø Rederi AS will deploy the oil spill response equipment partly by their two escort – harbour tugs and partly by their two mooring boats.
