ECOSORB Oil absorbent booms absorb oil and not water. (Notably: all dispersions, soap (Zalo), degreasing agent will brake down the fibres impregnation and the boom will quickly start to absorb water. Let the absorbent saturate fully before any cleaning operation). The absorbent booms are equipped with quick connections for easy handling and connections of a number of booms. High tensile strength is a characteristic of the Ecosorb booms.

Use of absorption booms requires less resources then ordinary mechanical booms and functions perfectly as an acute response product. Absorption booms are also being used to seal leaking areas between mechanical booms, quay area, vessels or mooring points.

In the case of minor spills on vessels deck or at the quay smaller formats and absorption booms can be used to avoid pollution to the sea.
