Barrier Tank Compact (BTC)
BTC is a chemical tank where all surfaces that are in contact with liquid have double walls and a double bottom. The tanks are adapted to the Norwegian pollution regulations chapter §18-6c on collection arrangements.
The tanks are delivered fully assembled with flanges, pipes and manholes that meet the requirements of your plant. The tank's construction is adapted to meet the customer's needs, this provides efficient operation and safe handling of the liquid. Installation of the tank is quick and easy.
The tanks are made of PEHD (High-Density Polyethylene), which is a robust, recyclable, and durable material. Today, PE is a common material used to produce pumping stations, tanks, wells and pressure pipes, because it is particularly durable in the Nordic climate and a lightweight material with superior corrosion resistance that is suitable for many types of liquid.
The tanks are normally delivered in black on the outside and light gray on the inside.
NOFI Vakos supplies tanks with a volume of up to 40 m3 per tank. The tanks are constructed and designed for each facility in collaboration with the customer. This means that height, diameter, pipe systems, as well as the location of connectors for connecting sensors can be varied.
