NOFI 1000 Series is a manually inflatable oil boom, specially developed for use in demanding conditions. This Oil Boom is developed to be used in exposed coastal areas as well as offshore. NOFI 1000 series comes in a variety of sizes, from 450mm-1200mm free board. Both Skirt and freeboard are made of tough oil-resistant PVC. The Boom has increased flexibility during maneuvering, and excellent wave following capabilities.
The double lining, and DRC connectors, combined with the ease of use, make the NOFI 1000 Series a very reliable oil boom for demanding conditions. Controlled Tank tests, prove that NOFI booms with feather nets can handle a higher tow speed than other conventional booms without feather nets. OMSETH test results show that the NOFI 1000 Series oil boom contained oil up to 1,2 knots!
