Damages to the fish farm nets are most often caused by the ball line that tears and clamps on the net, resulting in holes, and fleeing fish. That is why NOFI has developed the NOFI Delivery Line - a modern ball line with a seamless and solid middle section for safer intrusion. The middle section consists of a polyethylene (PE) pipe with specially developed flexible joints. This ensures a stiffened and solid shape when intruding so that the natural clamping/tear points that occur when using a regular ball line are avoided.
In the center of the middle section, there is also a return mount, which provides better control by making it easier to adjust speed during use and gives you the opportunity to abort the intrusion and run the system in reverse.
The mid-section has a seamless transition between joints and pipes. Therefore it does not result in any clamping/tear points. The quick connection points make it easy to disconnect and reattach the ball line arms. The total buoyancy for the NOFI Delivery Line is 15% higher than with a standard ball line, it is also more durable.
The standard length is 61m, where the center section is 21m. For use on fish farms over 160m in diameter additional lengths can be supplied.
