Anchoring sets

Correct anchoring of oil booms is critical for a successful oil spill operation. The type of anchoring needed depends on seabed conditions, weather, currents, depth, and the type of boom used.

Boom Lights

Using Buoy lights to increase the visibility of oil booms during a spill is important for your own personnel and other nearby vessels.

Our buoy lights are sensor-activated when exposed to darkness and  battery-operated.

Tide Compensator

The tide compensator is used to secure booms to the quayside, enabling them to adjust to changes in water level caused by tides and waves.

It consists of a permanently installed runner on the quay or jetty, and a buoyant sliding head connected to the runner. The sliding head moves up and down with the changes in water level.
